Did anyone get weird calls recently??

From 5 days ago, i've been receiving 2 -3 missed calls from unknown numbers. The first day i received from 64255142 and 65616431. I think it must be some insurance company wanting to pester me to buy insurance so i simply ignore them.

Then 3 days later I received 4 calls, from 6568739o, 65687415, 65610106 and a private number. I called 2 of them, 1 was a fax machine and for the other number,no one picked up the phone. So i ignored them again.

Until today, which is so ridiculous man! I received 15 calls for the past 2 hours! Kao.. All starting from 6568 7+++. Called 2 of their numbers and they told me it's ST Electronics, and both told me that they haven't made any calls to me. I called Singtel and they said there's nothing wrong with my phone. And they told me to call the corporate line tomorrow. If the problem is still not rectified, I'm going to change my phone number sia. It's super irritating to receive 1-ring calls every 10-15mins lo. :( And i've always been careful about divulging my mobile number to other companies, much less some company as remotely-linked to me as ST Electronics sia..

Anyone having the same problem out there???

Yesterday....

11am: JJ told me he's not coming for lect, Melissa also not coming either.

2pm: I left my textbook after lecture. When i went back 15 mins later (only 15!!), it's gone. @#%#@!!

5.30pm: A crazy storm broke out... only right after my lessons, when i was about to return home.. And guess what?? yup, no umbrella...

7pm: I realised i forgot to close my bedroom window (only one of the rare times i forgot!), and my bro went out without closing it either. In the end, my entire room was drenched!

My bed, with a layer of bedsheet, 2 layers of thin mattress, a thick layer of spring mattess plus a layer of cardboard at the bottom... when i lift up all the mattresses, the cardboard was dripping wet!!!
My notes... all inks were smudged!! can even see the whole series of inkblots we learnt in our secondary school chemistry.. wow.
My books... all wet!
My laptop... A miniature waterfall when i lifted it! i still don't dare switch it on yet.

8pm: My wisdom tooth, which has given me trouble over the past few days... finally gave me its best shot of pain... My jaws hurt too.. so bad that i can't even open my mouth big enough to bite a fishball... Had to take a panadol to stop the pain...

9pm: My bro's mug was so near the edge of the basin... forever.. can't he put it inner?? When i was brushing my teeth, i accidentally sent it over the edge... And of course, being non-plastic, you know what happens... What an omen!!!

Think i'm too tired after all these emotional dips, that i did nothing at all after that and fell asleep at 11... probably one of the earliest bedtime i've ever had this month... or even this sem...

One conclusion: I hate yesterday!

Sometimes i think some higher being up there must have something against me or something... It's not that i want to believe in it or what... but sometimes there are just some events that make me unable to deny this belief...Just now is an absolutely great example...

Planned to reach school to study at 1...
Went out at 12pm... 1 hour earlier than yesterday, so was quite pleased..
Reached the bus stop at !2.10pm
Waited the bus for 13 mins.. (so damn long)
When the bus came.... I took out my wallet and realised....

Ya, what else...
I forgot my EZ link card!!!

Those of you who knew me well, would have known I'm already somewhat immune to this...Yes, real sian but won't feel too vexed or frustrated...

Maybe that being up there thought this no longer is a challenge for me, and gave me a more "exciting" challenge...

It rained...

Luckily (that's probably the only lucky thing today...), i have my umbrella with me...



The rain started as a moderate downpour.. with big drops, but not too heavy...

Then as the second goes by, the moderate rain turns to heavy downpour...

Then to heavy storm~!!!! That i can hardly see the buildings a street away...

So heavy that even if an umbrella, the whole of the back of my shirt is drenched, as well as half of my bag.. TOTALLY drenched!!!

Not only that, when i reached home....
guess what????



The rain stopped... and i meant TOTALLY stopped!!!

There's even a bit of SUNSHINE...

LIKE the RAIN HADN'T EXIST A FEW MINUTES AGO!!!!

WA KAO~!!!


Now thinking back, maybe the umbrella hadn't been a lucky thing after all... If i don't have it with me, i would have waited under the void deck near the bus stop... For only 5 minutes, and i would have not been drenched like now..

So you see, how can i not believe my theory???

If they had nothing against me, then why send such a huge downpour for only FIVE minutes???

And why must that FIVE minutes must the SPECIFIC FIVE that i spent walking at a no sheltered path????!!!!!


All i can say is...

"What the....!!!"

Nothing is functioning anymore...

My puncher gone rusty and can no longer punch le...

My slippers were all worn and bald and can no longer prevent me from falling le...

My bag strap broke and can no longer serve as a sling bag le...

My Philips Stark watch battery died and can no longer work le...



But what makes my heart really ache is that

My TV died too and i no longer have my main source of entertainment le!!!!

Right now i'm at Taipei Airport alone... The rest had probably reached their hotels liao..
3 hours transit~ Nothing to do at all... Yawn~!!!
So therefore here i am.. finishing my post which i've started on 9th Aug...

On the 2nd last day before we leave, i lost each and every single memory i had in cedar point, in my 2nd trip to Niagara Falls, as well as the last few days in my shop....
All happened in a single day, in a single hour, in a single shop called Aeropostale..

Sigh....

Cried like hell... But what to do... life goes on.
What's most important is the memories i have in my head.

Suay Chronicles IV

Just thought these few days are quite suay...

suay enough for me to write another chronicle part...

My exam started last sat...

And i had to get sick on tues...

Not normal flu or cough...

But high fever....

So high that the medicine seemed quite useless... Only effective for less than 4 hours before i got another bout of high fever again...

I remember i even woke up in the middle of the night because of the fever... and couldn't get to sleep, even after taking the medicine... It was quite long before i could sleep again...

And this stupid fever actually lasted for 4 days!!! Making me feel so sick and so hard to concentrate on those notes through the week... The crucial period!!! When i've finally recovered... It's already the exam day itself...

Bio day... I thought of a lot of points to write for the essay question...

BUT i didn't write it down... because i took too long to do the MCQ...

Arrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh.....

And then today...

was browsing my CDs.. realised my David Tao's Ultrasound CD got spoilt for no reason~!!

It was left in the dust for quite some time, now the CD was like full of holes in its paint... Don't know why...

All i can think of was that maybe it has grown mouldy?? Or maybe roaches or some other species scratched it or something??

I really don't know... All i know is that it is a genuine CD~~!!!

How can such things happen to a zhen ban CD???!!!

Now the CD can't be played anymore... Cos when it is played, the tracks will get jammed quite badly...

Sigh.. there goes my CD~~


Then later as you all know, in the evening i had my second paper... Stats paper....

And again....

Why did i forget to bring my tutorial questions????

Why did i ever think that the textbook wun help me during the exam???

Most importantly... WHY THE HELL DID I FORGET THAT THE DF DENOMINATOR IS THE ERROR DF???????!!!!!!!!!!!!

Suay Chronicles III

Mom asked me whether to prepare breakfast for me or not.
Said no, as i'm having lunch at 11 in school, just before lecture.
Left my house at 1050, scared i was too late so took a cab to school instead.

Reach schoo at 1110, no one there yet.
Waited till 1140 before i decided to buy lunch (or brunch) first..
Went to queue at the Indo stall..
Just when it's my turn, i suddenly realised some notes are missing from my wallet!!!
Checked the floor.
Nothing.

After buying, i went back to my table, praying that i had dropped it in my bag instead. No such luck..
Fish...
I must have dropped it while walking to the stall or maybe even when queueing... Because after i alight the cab, i just hastily stuck the change in my wallet, such that a portion of the notes are like dangling out of my wallet.
Kns... Maybe when i opened my wallet at the stall, it dropped out and i didn't notice because my laptop blocked my view (i brought it with me cos no one's at the canteen table).. And maybe the person behind me took it or something. Because it's only less than 1 minute before i notice the money's gone.. =S

I wasted a total $10 for nothing!!!

What the...


Later mom smsed me she'll be home late, take my own dinner.
And i'm already entering the lift.... -_-!!
No food at home at all! Of all days!!
Had to settle with milo and bread and some potato chips for dinner...

Have i stepped on some unlucky bug or something???

When a person is drunk...

... it's the best time to know more about that person by digging out all the jing bao secrets out of him/her.. =X Hehe...

Went to the Balcony last night.. There's this sofa bed over there which you can lie on comfortably while drinking and chatting... Quite a relaxing place to be if not for the smokers around us.. But then again, which pubs are smoke free?? (Ok, even if have, they are also pretty rare.. )

The Balcony is not a bad place to hang out overnight too, since you can always sleep on the beds and what's great is that they are opened 24 hours!! Not bad.. So you no longer have to worry about where to hang around before the first bus/train home, or the cab's super high midnight charges... Hah..

I ordered a Sour Apple drink, which i don't really know what are the other contents in the drink besides Sour Apple concentrate and sugar.. DR and HY shared a jug of vodka with lime. They shared another jug of rum with coke with ZW. JX ordered a non-alcoholic apple juice. And WL ordered a.... Sex on the Beach cocktail.. This is what HY had the other time, and kept recommending that to us.. Don't really know why yah... :x Hahaha~ ;p

And that's not all... After that, the 4 of them (DR, HY, JX and ZW) ordered another bucket of beer which consist of 6 bottles of Heineken.. They sure are great drinkers~ Lol...

But nope... in case some of you are wondering... We didn't make music with those beer bottles and start singing "I Love You Baby~~~" with the rest of the people at the pub... Ha..

And their snacks are quite yummy!! Fried chicken, calamari and wedges!! *Slurps* But unfortunately, the prices are extremely steep for their tiny servings... Otherwise we would have ordered more.. Haha..

Then we played Zhong Ji Mi Ma, whoever kena will have to drink the beer and have to answer a question posed by the rest of us.. HAHA!! 所谓酒后吐真言, many secrets are spilled.. especially DR.. who's slightly drunk le.. Hahaha... Didn't know after all these years wor~ Lolx.. Discovered many jing bao stuffs from the rest too~ What a night!! =X

Too bad ZW has to leave early because of an early family gathering the next day... and i also have to leave some time later because my mom starts to question already... =(

But all in all, quite an enjoyable night with gangst8rs~ ^_^

Suay Chronicles II

And i thought my lousy timetable is the only suay thing...

Lately i wanted to take part in some exercise programme, and i finally persuaded JJ and YY to join~ Was waiting for the health and fitness booth to be set up in arts.. And it came yesterday~

So i went happily to visit the health and fitness booth... and all the classes are already full!! Arrrggghhhh.... Should have went to its booth at science when it first set up...

Then today.. Wanted to go iceskating... When i reached there, fuji palace is under renovation~!!!

What a waste of time~!!! =(


Oh and can i complain that my two psych textbooks cost me like 80 bucks?!!!

Suay Chronicles Part I

I think i can really start blogging about my suay chronicles from now on...

08 Nov 2006 (Yesterday), about 1-2am

I'm sitting by the sofa, watching my recorded Goong episode and waiting for my hair to dry at the same time. You know there are times when you can't really sit still? So i grabbed the pillow from the other end of the sofa, and shifted to that end.

I went to the kitchen after some time to take a drink. When i came back, i saw something at the very spot where i sat at just now... My living room is quite dark, so i can't really see what it was. It looked like some chicken slice. My brother must have been messy with his food again, i thought. So I went to poke it and it feels a little rubbery.

Then. It. Dawned. On. Me.







It's a chicken piece, it must be a chicken piece!!!
Before i could allow myself to think even further, i quickly grabbed some newspaper nearby, wrapped it, and threw it into the trash.

It's only then that i sat down and think slowly.....

I swear that 'chicken' has eyes, and it has the vague shape of a head and a tail...





Yes...... it's a lizard.

This is what i think that happens...

Before i shifted my place, the stupid lizard was beneath the pillow. Because the living room is dark and also because i'm too glued to the tv, i didn't notice it on the sofa. So this is how i sat on it throughout the rest of the show....urgh.



Perhaps it's due to my increased intensity of my Suay Aura bah... The effect no longer lags. The lizard immediately died upon contact.

Okok... Stop pitying the lizard anymore, it's me you all should pity k... I'm so traumatized by the whole event. I'm never gonna sit on that sofa again...

I'm so so traumatized...

Dreadful '2'...

For as long as i can remember, i have never been able to celebrate my birthday in school before, and have always envied those who can because that would mean all your classmates can celebrate for you. And not to mention more presents as well.

Because December is the long holiday month, and people usually don't see each other in during holidays (during my primary and early secondary school days), so people usually might as well don't celebrate at all... =S cos it's pretty meaningless to celebrate someone's birthday 1 month later bah..

I remember there's only once when i actually have the chance to celebrate in school... I was 6, studying at the West Coast PAP kindergarten school. That year, i still remembered vaguely, my mom bought my birthday cake, and prepared those little candy gifts wrapped with colourful wrapping paper that kids from our time loved (kids nowadays would probably scrunch their face with distaste instead). I'm so so excited and looking forward to show off share these candies and birthday cake to my classmates~!!!

But alas!! My Suay streak has started since i was young..

Just a few days before that very day, i had chicken pox. Of all times and of all kinds of illnesses, i had to get that stupid disease during that period!!! Why don't make me have minor ones like flu, cough, or even if fever, i'm also willing to crawl to school!!

GRrrr....

Not only that, that very year i got second in class (my only time in life). And i can't attend the prize presentation ceremony in as a result. (The ceremony is also during December)

ROOAAAAARRRRRRRRSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

Why am i so suay in my life?? Think if i write down all my suay chronicles, it would probably be enough to be compiled as a book!!! Maybe even one as thick as a dictionary!! SianZ... =(


Ok, back to topic. Every year, my friends celebrated their birthdays before me. And every year, they (esp the gangst8rs =S) laughed at me being so young, so child-like (as in like a child w/o the +ve pts), and those critical years they gloated that they can already see nc16 or m18 while i can't. =SS

Hahaha... But this year is so different man... Everyone is so scared of reaching the '2' header. Lol... It's the year when many things are changed once you celebrated your birthday.. Like you no longer being a teenager, you entering the adulthood, and how you have to get used to little kids calling you 'auntie' or 'uncle' once you reach the dreadful '2's.. And you probably cannot laugh and shout loudly, cannot run here and there, cannot play in playground, cannot idolize Edison anymore... *horrors*

Otherwise people would say, "Aiyo, see that girl.. In her 20s le still acting like a child sia!! Tsk tsk tsk..."

Most importantly, you also can no longer use the excuse of being still young for your clumsiness or for your loss of handphone... =(

我不想长大！！！

But anyway, as you can see, many many people (especially the girls) dread this very day, and i can finally tease them of being old liao... Payback time~ Heh...

I'm still young~!!! Wooeeeee~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!=D

I'm still a teenager~!!!!! WAaahhahahaahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh by the way, my birthday is 4th DECEMBER!!!!

One of my foot slipped into the drain when i was on my way home...

Thought I only got scratched... but no blood kind of bruise.

Until the red liquid starts oozing out... Then i realised i have multiple long ugly scratches on my left shin. OUCH!!! Arrggghhhhh........!!!

Will it leave scars??? Hope not!!! =(

Today's quite an unlucky day too, because i found out that the fish tank at home leaked. The few kilograms of fishy water flooded my entire living room, kitchen and even the master bedroom... At the same time, wiping out all the 4 fat goldfishes in the tank. My dad was cursing and swearing when he found out that his $200 worth of fishes were in the trash. No wonder my mom asked me whether there's water in the fish tank before i left for school...

Wednesdays are cursed...

Eventful day...

Only left about 4 weeks to my final exams~!!!

Arrrggghhh... Have to start mugging already... Sian.

So today, met up with yt in school to mug. But not much progress again, of course. Only read less than a chapter.. Haiz...

But because i don't have a handphone, meeting up with yt is an absolute chore (haha.. yes yt, me also feel that way k... lol..). I ended my rp at 11.30am. Supposed to meet her at the Central library at 12 noon. But when i reached the library at 11.35am, i realised it's closed on public holidays!!! Ahhhh!!!

Since there's some time, i thought of calling yt to cancel today's mugging program. So i went to look for a payphone somewhere in arts. I walked all the way from forum to canteen and even further down... Not a phone in sight.

Finally saw one outside LT10, but it requires the Singtel phonecard... -_-... Who uses that phonecard today??

Continued my quest for a payphone that accepts coins... Finally saw another phone sign at AS7. Phew, I thought...

Until i realised it's another phonecard payphone again!!! ARrgggghhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why can't NUS just install coin-payphones instead of phonecard payphones???? Nowadays almost everyone has a handphone, nobody would invest in a phonecard anymore lor... People only use payphone maybe because of emergency or lost their handphones like me, so who would predict they will have such emergencies and keep a phonecard with them at all times?? Bah!!

Never mind, went to the bus stop to wait for bus to take me to forum again to comb the area for payphones again. But the stupid buses were SO long~ Made me wait for about 10-15 minutes i think.. So in the end, i walked all the way there instead, perspiring profusely when i finally reached there. But no payphone in sight also...

Went to the Computer Centre bus stop. Thought of taking a bus to Clementi to get a payphone to contact yt at the last resort. But because i didn't have a watch with me either, i was really shocked to see the vending machine time displayed 12.03pm. Haiz.. And i still thought it was not 12 yet. So i dragged my feet back to the Central Library...Might as well wait for yt to come then discuss what to do next...

But i didn't see her when i reached there. Went to an empty bench to wait for her. IT's at this very moment that i saw a row of coin-payphones at the corner!!!! And I swear i've never seen them before during those few thousand times i've walked past that area!!! But anyway i'm too happy to bother... It's like seeing a mirage in a desert sia~!!! Lol...

At the payphone, realised don't have yt's no. Called ws's house (luckily i still preserve her no. somewhere in my memory...), got yt's no. and i FINALLY contacted yt................. Ya, and as expected, she's late again... *shake head* =X

Discussed with her, and we decided to go engin to mug in the end, as the benches are fully booked in the forum. Passed by the tutorial rooms, then we remembered YB said that tutorial rooms are empty in engin during holidays. And those rooms are unlocked!! We must be blessed...

There's no remote control for the air-con or anything, the dunno-what's-its-purpose controller on the wall also doesn't magically turn on the air-con or something... Haiz... So much for feeling blessed...

YT called kr, he told her that EA block tutorial rooms are fully air-conditioned. So we made our way there.. Went in to one of them... The controller-on-the-wall in there is slightly different from the previous one, it looked more like an air-con controller... Our hopes raised... Fiddle, fiddle.. we pressed all the buttons available... But the stupid air-con still doesn't work. ARgGh!!!! YT called kr for the Nth time, she was told that we have to wait for 5 mins.

Wait........ 5 mins, 10 mins..........

Still no air-con!!! Grrr.....

I immediately rushed to all the tutorial rooms we've previously entered.

Finally found it at the first tutorial room. Phew!!! Lucky it's not lost!!! But i guess only a pervert would steal a STats Textbook bah... Hahaha....

Went back. Air-con STiLL not working, and the room's getting stuffy already. Shifted to a bench outside instead...

So it's already 1pm before the whole fiasco ended... And we finally settled down to study..





Went to MacDonald's at 3.30pm (cos all the canteens are not open). There i get to witness the Unstoppable Fry-Eating Stunt... =X

Later we had a fun time chatting with Ng, and YT's primary school friend aka Ng's project partner... =X What with robbers, trees, grass, environment, and healthy fries, i laughed till my cheeks ached... Hehe...

When i went back home, my mom told me my aunt gave her an old samsung handphone.. WhoA~! So lucky man!! Maybe Heaven took pity on me for my unlucky morning events, and sent me this handphone.. haha~ Old phone, no camera, no mp3, no radio, no bluetooth... even the sms interface can only type in CAPs for T9 format... But it's still a handphone nonetheless...and better than no phone... Haha.... So can send me your numbers liao... And please send, if you don't want to me to ask who are you everytime you sms me... hah...

OkieZ... Wished i could blog more, but i'm really shagged now... Sorry for the poor use of grammar today, and maybe even some spelling mistakes i think... HAha~

The legend of my handphones...

I am really really very suei lately..

As some of you have known, i've lost my handphone again... Another reason for me to hate my life... Thanks to whoever-up-there.... Great thanks huh. But it's the 2nd lost handphone of the year, and the 3rd which is less than a year old...

Sian.

Yesterday, the fateful day, i was rushing to my dance class from school. I was holding my handphone, checking the time regularly, while smsing my friends. Went to the toilet to change for class, while i was doing that, i.......left my handphone in the toilet. Before i changed, i still reminded myself to take it before i leave. But after changing, i totally forgotten all about it... Argh.

I think the trend started ever since my mitsubishi phone was drowned at a birthday party. Then i got the K700i. It was lost again a year later at a birthday party too. Then i waited for my plan to end before renewing it and i got this samsung e730. 5 months later, (or was it 4?) i lost it AGAIN. 1 drowned, 2 went missing and were never to be found.

No more plans to renew liao, no money to afford a no-contract phone either. I have decided not to own a phone anymore, at least maybe for the near future. TOtally given up on handphones...

I hate all handphone finders who kept the handphones withour reporting it to the police!!! Ironically, the police post is only beside the bloody CC toilet!!! Arrrggghhhh!!! Doesn't she have any conscience at all? She don't feel guilty at all?

My mom picked up a handphone at her workplace once, and she reported to her supervisor the next day. She said she'll feel guilty and uncomfortable if she had kept that phone. And this had to happen to me so many times?? I have never once gotten any phones or money not belonging to me at all... Even if i did, i usually report it to the lost and found area... So why are these happening to me??!!! It really doesn't pay to be kind sia.

Since it is so, then i wouldn't be so goody goody again. I'm gonna be BAD!! I shan't report it to lost and found if i ever got my hands on handphones, wallets and money~!! Muahahah......

I'm SOo Gonna be a BAD person from now on...

The bad luck goes on... Today was my presentation day. So despite my great devastation over my loss of handphone, i still had to force that out of my mind and concentrate on finishing my project yesterday. ROARRRRRsss!!!!!!!

Anyway, today I was like super nervous till my throat went totally dry. Kept drinking water, till i nearly finished 1 whole bottle after the presentation. And while presenting, i only stumbled a little (quite surprised i didn't got tongue-tied.. haha~). But the problem is i think i bore my audience a little too.

My tutor was actually stifling ITs (can't reveal my tutor's gender here) yawns while i'm presenting sia. Then as the presentation proceeds, IT began to doze off now and then throughout our group's presentation. How rude! How can IT do this when the rest of the class didn't even do that? =(

A teacher should know that by displaying such behaviours, the students' morales would be greatly affected?? And that we would feel really bad and we may lose our concentration while presenting??? A teacher should know all these, and should learn to discipline his/herself, much less a psychologist like IT??? Maybe i should doze off at ITs lectures as well huh... Don't like IT!!! Grrr...

IT is grading our presentations.. Will IT fail us?? Did we really do that bad for our presentation?? I hope not, i hope that my negative thinking of our performance is only just spotlight effects (the tendency to overestimate the extent to which their actions and appearance are noted by others) as mentioned in my textbook. Haha... *Pray*

Oh this sat i'll be having the interview for the Work and Travel in USA programme!! So nervous till i get stomach aches sia! =( Pray they wun ask me questions which are too chim.. Nono, i should pray that i can understand what they are saying in the first place... HaiZ~

Friday the 11th

Perhaps Heaven or whoever up there miscalculated and assigned Friday the 11th to be my Bad Luck Day instead of Friday the 13th..

Plans: To meet mf and wl at 11am to eat mac breakfast at bugis, then go meet the rest of the g8ngst8rs at 5+ to 6pm at marina square.

10am: I can't find my keys!!!

10.20am: I realised i left my house keys in my dad's car!! My dad has left for work long ago. Without my keys, i can't lock my house after i leave. And i can't possibly go out with my house unlocked. So... i realised i'm stuck in the house!!! @#%#@!

10.50am: Thanks to many years of watching dramas with burglars breaking into houses, I finally thought of a similar way to lock the front door without keys!!! That proves that the tele does help you in your daily lives people.. heh...(uh uh... method i won't disclose, lest some of you should use this to break into mine..)

11am: I must say, I’m quite proud of my little ingenious trick that just saved me a whole lot of trouble. haha! looks like heaven is on my side!! I grabbed my stuff, dumped it in my bag and then went out.

That very moment i locked my front door, i felt something amiss. I reached in my bag to confirm my suspicions...








My wallet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I’ve remembered to bring everything… digicam, water bottle, jacket, umbrella….. Everything, except my wallet!!!!!!!!!!!! And I’ve just locked myself outside!!!!! DARN!!!!!!!!

I felt so sick immediately… I checked my bag frantically, hoping I have left some money in the bag.

Alas!!!! I came up with a grand total of …





40 cents.


Fish!!

This would mean that I could not afford that night’s expenses. In fact, I couldn’t even afford a single bus trip to anywhere!!! Arrrggghhhh…!!! Once again, I’m stuck!!! #%^@$#@%%@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no money, I can’t go anywhere. Parents at work, mf and wl already at bugis. I can only wait till 5pm when my brother comes home before I can go anywhere. No way am I going to do that!! I decided to get to the interchange first before I planned on what to do next.

On my way there, I came up with several options.

1) Call mf to meet me at the station near my house to lend me money.
But she had already reached AMK and was quite reluctant to turn back.

2) Take a cab to lavender to borrow money from my mom during her lunch time.
The cab fare would be too expensive and it’s pretty weird to ask the cabby to wait while I go look for my mom for money.

3) Look for money on the ground.
No such luck!! =(

4) Beg
I’m wearing an expensive top right then, don’t look convincing enough to be a beggar.. haix..

In the end, after pondering for quite some time, I thought of a better idea. To go to the bank to apply a new ATM card! It just so happens that I have my passport with me. Phew!

There was a long queue at the bank. I waited for 1 ½ hours for my turn. When it’s finally my turn, my mom called me to tell me my dad rushed home to lock the door and found it locked (I called mom when I realized my keys were in dad’s car. So my mom still thought I left the house unlocked.). Since my dad’s home, I can just go home to collect my wallet!!! Immediately I called him, and found that he’s already at bukit timah. I told him of my situation and pleaded him to make a U turn. Luckily he did, and I realized at that point of time, that my dad can actually be a quite a nice person. Hah…

I finally got my wallet… and my keys too!!! A final ending to all my bad luck, I thought. But little did I know that there’s still more at the end of the day….

The whole morning is pretty much gone just like that and by the time I reached there, it’s already 1.30pm. But the rest of the day went smoothly though.

Mf, wl and I went shopping at bugis village and bugis junction till 6pm before we went to marina square to meet the rest of the gang.

There’s fireworks display on that day, so marina square was pretty crowded by the time we got there. We went to kbox there to book a room. The receptionist told us we can only have the room till 10pm and it’s already 7.15pm at that time. -_-“” Without much other choice, (as there are no other places where we can have fun together and accommodate all 7 of us) we settled for that room and took their buffet dinner too.

I advise you... NEVER to go to marina square kbox when it’s crowded. They interrupted us every half an hour to clear our plates and glasses for the first 2 hours. At the last half an hour, they came into room for like every 5 to 10 mins to settle bill payment, to clear our 1 or 2 plates… And for the last 10 mins, they were practically chasing us out to serve their new customers. Even mf is quite pissed with them…

And I’m dealt with a great blow during our kbox session… My beloved Edison actually made out with Jolin for one of her MTVs!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhh……!!!!!!!!!! *sounds of heart being shattered*
Why must he do that in front of me?!!!
And why…….why must he go dye his hair to that ugly colour???!!!!! His previous jet black hair is xo cool… and now…. he looks like orang utan!! HAiZ…

The bill amounted to 31 bucks for each person!! Just for 3 measly hours!! Luckily i ate quite a lot of salmon sashimis, so that balanced off the injustice there. =D

Despite all the above tragedies, we had generally a fun time taking photos, recording videos and doing silly dances at kbox. Hahaha… will post when I received them…

After kbox session, we went over to a pub near fullerton hotel. This is our first time to pubs, so naturally we were pretty excited about it. And we.took.photos again… haha! Under the influence of the 浪漫手机 mtv (and also with nothing better to do), hy, wei and jx played an sms game. In the video, a girl (schemingly) smsed Jay Chou by mistake. They got to know each other from there and fall in love in the end. Apparently these 3 bo liao and despo optimistic girls wanted to try their luck in finding The One by following the girl in the MV. Of course I, being the very rational and mature person, did not follow suit. Oh…err… did I mention that my handphone was out of batt?? =X

Ok so fast forward… the taxi fare cost a whopping 50.10 bucks (even though the cabby promised us that it DEFINITELY wouldn’t exceed 50) , and I reached home at about 5 am because I’m the last to alight.

My mom woke up in time to see me getting ready to sleep. Got a earful from her… and another from my dad the next morning… as well as an 11pm curfew from then onwards… Man… Think I can’t stay out late in the near future anymore… =(

Happy Birthday !!

Besides being the national day, today is my mom's birthday as well.. So i purposely made today free just to accompany her on her birthday. =)

Today morning when i asked my mum how she wanted to celebrate her birthday, she said,

"Dunno leh..", and turned to my dad, "oei, wad are we going to do today?"

Dad replied, "Celebrate ar? Watch TV and sleep lor.."

In the end, we went to PS to shop for my mom's birthday present. But today many shops had many crazy sales going on. That's why I got distracted and shopped for my clothes instead... =X

(I bought 2 tops and a pair of shorts!! Finally got a pair of shorts that suit me!! Only 15 bucks some more!! Giodarno's shorts cost $39 leh!! Wahahahahhaha...!!!)

Erhem.. Anyway, shop shop shop.. and at the end of the day, my dad bought a Titus watch for my mom, and it's the newest model that is advertised on this poster with Sammi Cheng in it. Seriously, i don't think it's nice at all...(due to generation gap maybe?) but all that it matters is that my mom thinks it's nice bah! =) My dad had very high opinions of Titus watches too, even though i think he only know of this brand for the first time today.
Oh.. did i mention his favourite HK actress is Sammi?

Today was a great day, hope my mom liked her watch so much that she had forgotten that i still owe her her present. ^_^

I think there must be some truth when they say the 'yin qi' this year is the strongest, especially when our hao xiong dis get to have 2 months' off. Today is only chu san, and i've met with a series of very trivial but nevertheless unlucky incidents.

On 初一, i was taking the bus home. I was playing my handphone game cos there's nothing else better for me to do. The next time i looked up, my bus stop was already 2 stops behind. I seldom miss my stop no matter how blur i am. But it's ok, i walked to the interchange and took another bus home. Played my game again, i swore it's only a few seconds!! But next thing i knew, i missed my bus stop AGAIN!!! Aaaarrrggghhhh!!!! And because that day was chu yi, i wanted to rush home as early as possible. But somehow i just can't seem to reach home! in the end, i walked all the way back home from 3 bus stops away. I think i was getting really paranoid at that time, that when i was taking the lift, i kept remembering MF's oom mani padme meh oom.. (can't rem how it's spelt, and to those who dunno, it's a buddhist chant to 'qu gui' =X)

初二, which was yesterday, yeah i think you all should know how unlucky i am by now. Yesh, stumbled onto that fateful blog. But i really wanna thank my friends who stood by me and consoled me, esp WS, Bri, AM and errr... MF(?) (She said these are all very interesting, wanna get to know them oso... -_-"" Yeah yeah, i knw ur intentions la.. haha...)

初三, i woke up late today as a result of blogging late last night. Estimating that i would be very late, i smsed my boss that i'll be arriving 15 mins late, and will do OT to make up for it. I end up arriving at only 10 mins late and no one was in the office at all for the whole half hour. I could have save my 15 mins if i had not sms my boss! Haix..
After i knocked off, i waited for my bus home. Waited and waited...
My bus finally arrived, i reached in my bag to take out my wallet...................

None!!

Arrrggghhh....!! i left it in my office!!!

I practically dragged my feet all the way back to office again.. Haix... I'm supposed to knock off at 6.15, but i finally boarded the bus at 6.50. What a great waste of time! oooOO.. my Youth!! Haiz..

Then i reached home to watch my SCV dramas. Then i realised that all 3 of them showed their last episodes these 2 days! Haix, no more dramas for me to look forward liao, the new ones seem boring. Why end so fast? And all at the same time?!! That's probably why i had time to make wu liao complaints in this blog. hahaa.. but that's what blogs are for... to complain when you have nothing better else to do. Lalalala...

Kk, think i gotta sleep liao.. Otherwise will get panda eyes like MF and DR. =X
