Kns, someone shoplifted in my shop.

Yup, as i was saying... On 26th May, this Mother, with cash in her hand, brought her 2 kids into my shop.. And she was like constantly asking me “May I know how much is this?” and “how much is that?”.

I was feeling good that day, so I went over and helped her check the price tags.

Then a while later,

She: “I’m looking for pants for my 2 year old niece, do you have anything like that?”

Me: “No, we only have whole outfits for those toddlers.”

She: “Ok, do you have any shirts for 2 year old kids then?”

Me, walked over to the back of the shop to show her.

Meanwhile her two kids were like browsing around in the shop, commenting to me on each and every item.

I was actually glad to talk to them, because of my boring job nature whereby I can only stand behind the cash register all day. So I chatted happily with them, not knowing that while i'm talking to one person, the other two were busily putting stuffs from my shop into their bag.

Kns...

No wonder it's really weird when there was once they stood real close to me when my back was towards them. And when i turn around the mother was like asking me more questions and always bringing me to the back of the shop, and asking me the same questions more than once even.

But i thought i was being paranoid then, so i chose to believe them. Yet they really proved my suspicions when this mother grabbed two pillows and told me she wanted to purchase them.

She placed them at the counter.

When she asked me about the price of some other stuff again, I watched her kids loitering around the shop. I faced her to answer her question and the next time i turned around, her kids were gone. ( and later i realise, so were the pillows.)

Anyway, after she was gone, i walked around the shop and found that they not only took the pillows, but several keychains and some tee shirts as well... Roughly about 80+ worth of souvenirs.

Called the security. Was seriously disappointed. They just asked me about the details of the shoplifters. That's about it. I think after that they just went for their breaks. -_-"" My sup don't sound terribly anxious or urgent about it either. Like i'm the only one who cared about the stolen stuff... I'm super angry about the whole incident. First i was cheated of my feelings, my trust and my friendliness. Then next the rest of the world don't seem to be bothered by it except me. What the... Then why should i be so upset about it then??

And the mom... What kind of mom is that??? She actually taught her kids to shoplift!! and make her kids her accomplice!!! Totally utterly shocked by such a mom... And i still thought i can put my guard down with kids when their mom is around... So i'm wrong.

Felt sucky the whole day.

Ok, next time don't care liao.. Roars!!
