Suay Chronicles III

Mom asked me whether to prepare breakfast for me or not.
Said no, as i'm having lunch at 11 in school, just before lecture.
Left my house at 1050, scared i was too late so took a cab to school instead.

Reach schoo at 1110, no one there yet.
Waited till 1140 before i decided to buy lunch (or brunch) first..
Went to queue at the Indo stall..
Just when it's my turn, i suddenly realised some notes are missing from my wallet!!!
Checked the floor.
Nothing.

After buying, i went back to my table, praying that i had dropped it in my bag instead. No such luck..
Fish...
I must have dropped it while walking to the stall or maybe even when queueing... Because after i alight the cab, i just hastily stuck the change in my wallet, such that a portion of the notes are like dangling out of my wallet.
Kns... Maybe when i opened my wallet at the stall, it dropped out and i didn't notice because my laptop blocked my view (i brought it with me cos no one's at the canteen table).. And maybe the person behind me took it or something. Because it's only less than 1 minute before i notice the money's gone.. =S

I wasted a total $10 for nothing!!!

What the...


Later mom smsed me she'll be home late, take my own dinner.
And i'm already entering the lift.... -_-!!
No food at home at all! Of all days!!
Had to settle with milo and bread and some potato chips for dinner...

Have i stepped on some unlucky bug or something???

Stress Period is here...

Perhaps, my lack of sleep is due to stress.. Omg... Now is only 6+ am, and i'm already awake!!

And it happens almost every semester during the near exam period. =(

After i checked my schedule, and list my datelines, i just realised i'm gonna be soO dead.

• Next week - 1 lab report

• 3rd week --> HELL WEEK!!!

Handphones come and go...

In Memories of my Samsung phone~

It has sheltered me from a dark period when i had lost my handphone... To that, i'm truly grateful for its existence.. But there still comes a day when it has to depart.. It passed away peacefully yesterday when it went out of battery. It's only when i tried to switch it on after charging that i realised it's gone...along with all my lovely smses which i've kept for so long...

Rest in peace...


4th time already.. Kind of numb liao.. Am i not fated to have a handphone after all?? Now i'm like carrying my 5th handphone within 2 years!!! And IT's totally NOT by choice~!!

Arrghhhh...

But anyway, i've to use my dad's old handphone now.. Think i will be carrying sencond-hands from now on... =S

Lack of Sleep..

I really admire those who can sleep as much they wish man~ I wished i can sleep as much as them too.. It's not exactly that i'm super busy that i don't have enough time to sleep.. But I JUST CAN'T SLEEP~!!! ARGggghhhhh....

I always auto wake up after 6-7 hours of sleep.. That sucked! I want 10 hours~!! GRrrr.. STupid body clock!!

Anyway, had a busy busy week last week.. So no time to blog at all.. HAha.. So here's a summary of what happened last week..

Treasure Hunt was fun!! Went to tl's concert on the same day too~ Hah~!! Took plenty photos too~ WAhahaha.. Will blog more about this next time with those photos~ Lolx...

Many deadlines to meet

Particularly that Developmental Term Paper which i managed to hand in just on the dot! At 11.59pm.. causing the rest to almost have a panic attack.. Lolx...

Was grateful that i have my friends' company that day. Wouldn't have even submitted on time if they weren't around.. HAha...

But... unfortunately it comes with a price..

4 pratas... 1 with egg some more.. Sighz..

YT's band concert

The concert was quite cool.. and interesting too! Loved the music.. Particularly liked the Sound of Music and another one that has something to do with the Ridge one.. Lolx..

Then i realised that the solo clarinet player for the second song (the title is like Getting Smaller or something.. can't rem..) is one of my project mates for Marketing! Thought it was probably someone with the same name and surname when the MC introduced him.. Mei Xiang Dao is really him.. Didn't know he so zai sia.. Lol.. Was really surprised to see him on stage anyway..

There was a few funny pieces too.. There's one which portrays an old black and white film with trains, villians and the usual hero saving the damsel in distress. Quite cartoon~ Haha.. Don't know why.. but i'm reminded of Charlie Chaplin.. haha..

Didn't know the rest noticed so much about which player play what instrument, what instrument too soft and all that... Some more JL was under fatigued conditions sia.. I'm quite alert and wide awake yet i didn't notice.. Win liao.. Oh, perhaps i'm too engrossed listening to the music.. Must be it~ Hah..

LEmon slice is damn nice man~ Shiok!! Why nobody touch theirs?? Waste lemon~!! Tsk tsk..

Today

During Personality tutorial, Dr Why gave us 2 personality tests.. To compare both of their reliability in terms of their sources.. One's from an unofficial website, the other from the BBC website. It turns out that both are equally unreliable.. Both of them never mentioned a single name, address or contact number of the source. Just that the BBC one looks more professional on its website.. That's about all.. So, never be fooled by the results of the personality tests you have taken.. The results may not be accurate, may have totally no scientific evidence at all..

But if you guys are intersted, you all can see for yourself.. Quite interesting though.. Have fun~ But please don't take them too seriously of course.. Haha..

Went to the Balcony last night.. There's this sofa bed over there which you can lie on comfortably while drinking and chatting... Quite a relaxing place to be if not for the smokers around us.. But then again, which pubs are smoke free?? (Ok, even if have, they are also pretty rare.. )

The Balcony is not a bad place to hang out overnight too, since you can always sleep on the beds and what's great is that they are opened 24 hours!! Not bad.. So you no longer have to worry about where to hang around before the first bus/train home, or the cab's super high midnight charges... Hah..

I ordered a Sour Apple drink, which i don't really know what are the other contents in the drink besides Sour Apple concentrate and sugar.. DR and HY shared a jug of vodka with lime. They shared another jug of rum with coke with ZW. JX ordered a non-alcoholic apple juice. And WL ordered a.... Sex on the Beach cocktail.. This is what HY had the other time, and kept recommending that to us.. Don't really know why yah... :x Hahaha~ ;p

And that's not all... After that, the 4 of them (DR, HY, JX and ZW) ordered another bucket of beer which consist of 6 bottles of Heineken.. They sure are great drinkers~ Lol...

But nope... in case some of you are wondering... We didn't make music with those beer bottles and start singing "I Love You Baby~~~" with the rest of the people at the pub... Ha..

And their snacks are quite yummy!! Fried chicken, calamari and wedges!! *Slurps* But unfortunately, the prices are extremely steep for their tiny servings... Otherwise we would have ordered more.. Haha..

Then we played Zhong Ji Mi Ma, whoever kena will have to drink the beer and have to answer a question posed by the rest of us.. HAHA!! 所谓酒后吐真言, many secrets are spilled.. especially DR.. who's slightly drunk le.. Hahaha... Didn't know after all these years wor~ Lolx.. Discovered many jing bao stuffs from the rest too~ What a night!! =X

Too bad ZW has to leave early because of an early family gathering the next day... and i also have to leave some time later because my mom starts to question already... =(

But all in all, quite an enjoyable night with gangst8rs~ ^_^

Cheap assassins..

The day before our Stats test, JJ was frustrated with the notes, the lecturer, the tutorials.. basically everything that has to do with the Stats module..


JJ: I feel like killing the lecturer right now... His notes is so skimpy!! Don't understand what he's talking about!!

Me: You are just biased against him lar... He ok what...

JJ: Hmmm.. and our class those li hai ones.. they seemed to know everything that's going on in every tutorial!! Maybe we should hire some assassins to kill them... Then our grade can greatly increase liao!! HAHaha...

Me: Hmmm... but like that, won't buying a degree be cheaper?? Hire assassins very ex you know.. Some more there are like so many il hai ones in our class...

JJ: Oh then hire cheaper ones lor..

Me: HAhaha.. But diao.. if (hire) cheaper ones, we would be discovered very quickly de lor...

JJ: HAHA.. No.. Scarly (because they are cheap) they kill the wrong persons lor!! HAha...

JJ: Eh, scarly they kill YOU!! WAHAHHAHAHA....

Me: .... -_-!!!

Busy Week...

Have been busy these few days..

First have to chiong like hell during the midterm break for a biopsych test on Tues... Slept for only 5 hours that day..

Then thought can finally rest, until i received a message that night... that i have to reach Novena station the following day at 9am!!! Have to wake up at 6+am~ In the end only slept for 6 hours... Kns...

Thurs (yesterday) have to chiong yet for another Stats test today... Arrggghhhh...

Today, think i got several mistakes for my test... I gave the total df when they asked for the df of the F statistics!! Arggghhh... Why my eye so cocked?!?!! Blah!! Anyway, still have to rush for project after the test..because we had to conduct an experiment right after.. And there's another tutorial which i haven't really prepare after the experiment...

What a super hectic day sia~

Finally~ get to relax at the end of the day.. Went to watch the Band competition at the Forum.. Haha~ Not bad... The music is great~ Though "several of our ear hair cells just died" (by JJ) after the whole competition...

Liked the 1st group's Drummer, the singer was not bad too~ and i also liked the groove of the band's soft rock music.. Can't remember its name though.. Is it Sponge?? Haha..

The 2nd group is not bad too.. but like what YT said, the singer's too skinny.. =X

The 3rd group from Kent Ridge's hall -- the Conman.. Yep, they managed to con everyone indeed with their professional and daring performance... so it's pretty unsurprising that they won.

The 4th group (i also can't remember its name) did their own rendition of I Will Survive.. It's really not bad sia~ First time i ever heard that song has a rap in it.. Lolx...

The 5th group, we didn't stay till then, but we heard that they were not bad either, though not as good as the 3rd or 4th group.

So all in all, the music was great, the company was great, and more importantly, the sceneric view in front of me was especially great~ Lolx... So in the end, really enjoyed myself~ =)
