After health paper on wed...
i felt as if a big load was off my shoulders...
Didn't do too well for it, but had a nice long meal with yt and ahgong...
And ya, i won't dare to order a whole cafe cartel's Pork Ribs lunch for myself again...
The taste is really too strong that, even if you have the stomach space for it, you simply can't stand the taste of it after 5 ribs. The next 5 is basically a test of your endurance, tolerance and determination. Lolx...
Think we spent about 5 hours (???!!!) in there, chatting... Bet the waiters can't wait to chase us out. Haha..And think after that 5 hours, the health exam seemed to be a distant event, our coming last paper was also totally out of our mind (after all, still got 5 days to prepare.. yt had 6; ahgong had 7, open book some more!!!).
Treated ahgong to his meal too.. Cos it's his BIRTHDAY~!!! Think by now can spot many white hairs liao... lol!! jk..
A nice way to mark our final meeting of the sem, and of our university days. No matter what happens in future, i think i'll not forget these "Psych Khakis", whenever i think back of my uni days. =) Ha!
Thursday
Then yesterday.. Labour Day... So busy till i didn't realise it's labour day yesterday, until i woke up at about 9am, and still found my parents at home.
Still asked, "Eh, how come you all at home today? No need to go to work meh? Sick ar?"
"Today Labour Day!!!"
"Oh..."
Yup, was a relaxing day yesterday... Watched this HK drama and it showed this girl trying to invent a new type of xiaolongbao to save the restaurant. So naturally, when dad asked, "What you all want for breakfast?" "Dim Sum" was my instinctive reply.
So our whole family, together with my Ah-Ma, we went to this dim sum restaurant for dim sum breakfast. Maybe it was because i'm hungry, but i find they served some of the best dim sums i've ever tasted. Haha... Charsiew buns are super delicious, fillings are not those yucky red pork meat with oil lumps you usually eat from coffee shops, but here the charsiews are soaked with sweet dark brown sauce, no solid oil lumps present, and its thick white outer layer skin is soft and of cotton-like texture, that it almost melts in your mouth. Haha!! Don't drool wor!!
Next is my favourite prawn dumplings!!! The only disappointment is that they made the skin of my favourite dim sum so soft that it sticks on the plate, that i have to eat them separately. But other than that, no complains at all. The prawns are fresh and cooked to the optimum degree~ You know, it has retained the freshness and juiciness of the prawns, and at the same time it was cooked enough to remove its raw fishy taste. MMmmmm.. Haha!! Same goes for the prawns for our Hor Fun.. This time it's the whole fresh prawns~~ Another chance for me again to taste these delightful prawns... And they also poured a fried egg over the hor fun, covering it.. Perfect combination with the hor fun, prawns and vegetables... YUMS!
Siew mais also super nice, xiaolongbaos also not bad!! They even made me want more of their steamed chicken glutinous rice, (or the so-called Lor Mai Gai) something which i've never liked before. HAha!
Too bad each dim sum's serving is only 3 small pieces, and there are like 5 of us... So can't get enough of everything. But a bit here and there, they still manage to fill our stomachs well... :D
The only other sian thing is because yesterday is a holiday, there were many people there in the morning. We waited for about 2 hours in total, with 2-3 dishes coming in 30-45 min intervals. But our anger was appeased by the quality, and also by a few events later.
Because they are so busy, i think in their hurry they forgot to cancel the tick in our order after they served us the glutinous rice. So we had another additional one!! Totally FOC. Lols..
And because my dad is a regular there and because he complain of the long time we waited, our originally free red bean paste dessert is upgraded to Fried Ice-cream! HA! (For your info, they sell each of their fried ice-cream at 6 bucks each sia!)

Today
And just now, I won over 800 tokens in Scratch and Win!!! The biggest win so far... Ok, i forgive backstage technologies for my previous bad experience. Heh.=)
And today is already Friday, only left 3 days to my final paper and i haven't even started anything!!! Up till now still in the lalala mode...
Hope i have the motivation to start today...

Think quite a high chance ba. This sem really suck me dry sia. 4 presentations and 5 projects, and i ended up being involved in all the presenting. So in a super sian and shagged mood sia. Will only continue if i can find khaki ba. Realise NM lvl 4 mods mostly proj based one, and some of the pple operate in cliques, very hard to chap in also.
Haha, u jiayou for ur paper also, i think TV and internet very distracting la. heh
