I found this quite cool... cos it gave me a quite detailed report of my horoscope, which i think most of them is true... Most importantly i liked what it said about me.. Lol...

Muggerhood overnight stay as well as JL's Bday celebration!!!

Okok.. I'm quite sick of WS bugging me to update my blog again and again... So i shall squeeze a little of my precious time to do this post.

To continue from last post, as mentioned, the whole muggerhood camped in school last friday~ To celebrate JL's birthday, to experience staying over in school (so exciting!), as well as......

Haha... Yeah, unfortunately JL had to mug on his birthday as well... Lol...

A week ago before that very day, WS and TL (the main organisers) kept asking what's his favourite colour, what kind of bag he likes to get some ideas on what to buy for him.. He said, "no preference..."

Since he had no preference, we thought that he would like hot pink as well... Heh...

Anyway on friday, i had planned to reach school by 7pm after submitting in my lab report, which i've started doing at 7am. Unfortunately, i had a slow processing brain, and i can't even finish by 8pm!! (it's due at 5pm, after which 1 whole grade would be deducted from the total score) That sucks.

In the end, i decided to give up trying to finish, and went to school to finish instead. In the end, i can't finish at all!!! i can only finish at 4+am i think.. which is like 22 hours to complete that lab report... Omg..

The day went like this... (from my point of view)

9-11+pm : Mug.....

11+pm: TL, WS, Seb and WH went to 'bathe'...

11.45pm: Ng received the cue to switch off the lights... And... They came back with the prata cake, while singing the birthday song~ JL was so surprised and happy when he saw the 'cake' (at least he seemed to be.. muahaha...)!!!

After goofing around for a little while, we handed him his 'present'... ahahah... Which is a hot pink *whistles* ladies bag~~!!! Lol... Can tell he's quite sian, though he acted like he's very happy to receive that present... =X

"Ok lar, the box in the bag is your real present lar..."

From the bag, he pulled out a somewhat stylish-looking Parker pen gift box. So nice sia~ A glimmer of hope for him... He opened the box, and in it laid a.....









hot pink highlighter (sponsored by TL)~~!!! Muahahhahah.... XD



Hur hur... got tricked twice man~!!! By this time, his expression is like this: -_-!!!

Haha.... Ok, in the end he got his real present which is a black (must be his favourite color~) sling bag and a voucher from sportslink.

Then we went on to take pictures and stuff... Eat prata, drink ice milo... Makes a nice supper... Except that the prata is a little cold... cos we fooled around for too long... Ahah.. But who cares about the taste when you are having fun?? Maybe except YT bah... Lol... =X


Later we got chased out by the stupid security guard who wanted to lock the tutorial room. Went to the library instead... On the way, WS lost her earring, and i stepped on yet another bug.. Argh...

Reached the library... The library was 3/4 full!! Oh my god... And the whole library is in dead silence!! So much that you can hear a pin dropping even on the carpeted floor~ haha.. k, i'm exaggerating... But you can certainly hear snores as well...

Went back. This time we settled for one of the LTs instead. It's cool inside from the "leftover' aircon...

Wanted to continue my lab report.. But at this very moment, it had to go out of batt~ Sian... -_-...

Luckily YB not using his laptop, so can lend me... Phew~!! But of course, not without receiving his frown... making known of his reluctance and unwillingness to lend me... But on the account of my incomplete lab report, i had no choice but to toughen my face skin sia... Haha... jkjk..

Later i spent the rest of the whole night (or morning) to complete the stupid lab report!!! While the rest are having fun crapping~ Arrgghhhh.... I shall swear never to procrastinate again!!!

Later, when i finally have the time to sleep and finally closed my eyes, the stupid security had to barge into the LT and chase out again!!! ARRRGGGHHHH.......... That's how i only slept for like 15-20 mins... GRrrrrr....

Then when it's time to eat our breakfast, we discussed where to eat, which took a great deal of time... And all this while, WH kept complaining that he wanted to go home and all these is taking too much of his precious time... =X

In the end, JL saved the day, when he finally said, " Go mac lar, i treat you all..." Once these golden words were spoken, the whole muggerhood immediately brightened up and bubbled with great energy... Ahaha.. yeah, we're truly a bunch of pratical people... Lol...

So we skipped (happily) to mac and (happily) ordered our meals. There the engineers got bo liao, and they started playing with sugar, trying to make a drawing out of it as well as a great mess.. -_-.. They soon got bored, and tried to take a shot of the water drop while it's still in the air. To no avail though.. hah...

We later moved on to Kbox~ Got high but energy depleted rapidly due to the lack of sleep...There, JL sang his infamous Hokkien song, and YB once again showed off his superstar voice which made us girls 'melt'... Lol... So with all that, we finally went home~

Overall, fun and exciting and very tiring as well.... Maybe it would be much better if we don't have to mug... Haha~ For more detailed report and photos of that day's events, go here.

• So tired right now... Just camped in school yesterday. Only slept for 15-20 mins!!! Think eye-bags, panda eyes, and pimples... Omg...
  

• Plus my wisdom tooth is giving me a great.... toothache. Arrghh... Some more during this period of all times!! Arrrgggghhhh.... =(
  

• Went kbox just now... Got really high at first, then energy depleted rapidly as time increase. (Think Inverted-J shaped exponential curve; y-axis: level of energy, x-axis: time). By the time it ended, i'm already a walking corpse...

• Came back at 3+pm. BAthed and watched yesterday's episode of Goong. Fell asleep unknowingly. 4 hours later, i found myself in my bedroom... Have i actually sleepwalked??? Must be too tired le.. According to my dad, he said he saw me sleeping on the sofa with the TV still on when he came back. He woke me up, but i went back to sleep again... Then what happened after this remains a mystery. How did i end up in my bedroom later?? i have no memories of my dad's account, i also don't remember walking to my room... hmmm... weird.

• Oh and i checked le... I'm right after all, yt.... I AM NOT THE LAST PERSON TO SUBMIT THE LAB REPORT!!! Muahhahh.... There are 2 more people who handed in after me~ 9 late submissions in total. Phew!! Lol...

Exams is in less than 10 days' time...

Exams are coming!!!

I've been stoning for the past few weeks!!!

Danzation~ (Edited)

Went to the NRA (New Revolution Age) Danzation at NP yesterday...

So. Totally. Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my god... You should have watched them dance!!!!!!!!!!!! *Gush*

All the hiphop, jazz, locking, raggae, latin............ and so on!! It's a perfect combination of all sorts of modern dance with ballroom dances~~!!!! I'm so inspired!!! i Wanna dance, dAnce, DAnCE~~~!!!!


HAhaha... okok, i'll start from the beginning...


JX invited me to go for their school's dance concert some time ago. She told me her friend is performing at the concert, so she, HY and a few of her other friends are going to give their support. But another of her friend couldn't make it to the concert at the last minute, so there's an extra ticket and she couldn't find anybody else. SO i WENT~ for free! Hahaha....

So at first i thought, oh school dance concert... should be nothing much bah... Reach there at 8pm, should be able to reach home by 10 le. While thinking of PJ Opening ceremony (which is quite not exciting...), and those mini-concerts in NUS (which lasted a little more than an hour only...).


But in the end, it turned out to be the exact opposite of what i thought.


At the opening, they showed a little video of some girl who fell out with her parents over her dance practices, because according to her parents, she wasted a hell lot of a time practising her dance that they don't get to see her at all. So they forbid her to go for her practice totally. She ran out of the house in the rain and came to NP....

Then the opening dance starts... According to brochure, "An opening that will leave you breathless! Featuring various genres of dance, lyrical hiphop, powerjazz, popping, locking, house, new school hip hop and raggae. It's an opening too good to miss!!"

I totally agree...

The opening performance have totally blown me away.. The dances are neat and the dance choreography is so cool and professional!!!!!! The performance don't only feature 1 or a few talented dancers, the whole dance troupe is equally talented!! All dancers are really really professional looking!!! And we are talking about a troupe of 100+ dancers!!!!!!!!!!!!

And i must say.. they are really open-minded dancers... which may be attributed to their professionalism bah. When it comes to hugging, they really did hug... When it comes to kissing, they almost did kiss... And some of their positions and movements... errr... really suggestive...

Professionalism, professionalism~~!!!

But i can't help wondering what their parents would think, sitting in audience and watching... Heh.

Oh and all the female dancers are so hot sia!! With their wild hairstyles, makeup, outfits and of course their nice bods... the guys (both dancers and audience) really 赚到了 man...

Later in the performance, there is a showcase of different genres of street dance. Like Street Jazz, (which is cool sia~ i wud definitely learn this if possible!!), hip hop and of course break dance. The dancers can really break well.. imagine standing on your head for 10 secs!!

Then there's a cute performance of short, spunky mcdonald's girls (dressed in bright red and yellow outfits) fighting with tall lanky guys.. Daphne Khoo, one of the Singapore Idol's top finalist, acts as one of the mcdonald's girls. Heard from JX that she's in the NRA organisation too.

Then later she sang 2-3 numbers... but couldn't really remembered what she sang.. Because i'm totally wowed by the dancing in the background and how they actually can complement with Daphne's singing really well. The whole dance choreography is great.. I think Daphne's voice sounded like Britney Spears', like a little faky kind of voice, but still sound good nevertheless...

There are 2 more singers in NRA too. The guy sang 爱如潮水 and some Wilbur Pan's song. The girl sang 睁一只眼闭一只眼 and 爱的主打歌... They are really good~!! Heard they were also trained in some established Singapore singing schools... But anyway, the whole performance is really like what you see in MTVs!!! The whole choreograph, costumes and everything!! So coooolllll!!!!!!

Oh yar, there's also a very humorous retro (or obiang?) performance where the guy was nerdy-obiang-and-toot-looking, wearing a high-waist pants with 2 suspenders on each side of his body. He sang a Hokkien song which starts with "Kia lid eh hong jin tao...". Then his background dancers are all female dancers, half of them wearing those qibaos that are similar to those waitresses you see in Chinese restaurants and the other half wearing those fur boas which you see those A-go-go singers wearing in the 70's or 80's. (See here if you don't know what a feather boa is.) It's damn cute and hilarious man~ Haha...

There are many performance with other different themes as well... For eg, army recruits doing funky dances, chambermaids having fun after their mundance chores, men and women in their posh evening gowns moving to the seductive latino groove, and ended with a grand finale of some percussion music which sounded pretty Brazilian to me.


Overall....

Songs:

Their songs absolutely made me sway to the groove and move to the beat... The genres were like R&B, hip-hop, Pop, Jazz and so on... There were many many songs but i can't only recognise and remember some like

Britney's Toxic, I'm a Slave For You, Stronger and some of her other hits;
Beyonce's Crazy in Love and some of her other songs;
Nelly Furtado's Promiscuous;
Mario's Let Me Love You;
Mariah Carey's We Belong Together;
Mary J. Blige's Be Without You;
Black-Eyed Peas' Fergie;
Kelly Clarkson's Because of You;
U.G.L.Y in Bring it On movie;
Classic song... Fever;
Some korean song, Any Motion (i've always tot this is just a sample mtv song by samsung, cos it's found in my prev samsung phone. Never know that such song really exists... lol.)


Choreographers:

I think they played an extremely important part to the success of this concert... Without them, there would probably be no performance. 5 in total: Ryan Tan, Xue Gao, Lionel Araya, Don Tsai and Ann Tan. I think the most impressive one has got to be Xue Gao. He's a Taiwanese Celebrity choregrapher who has worked with famous singers like Jay Chou, Jolin Tsai, JJ Lin and so on... No wonder the dances looked exactly like from the MTV videos~~!


Dancers:

Full of energy and vibrance... There's one Botak guy singled out by JX. He danced real charmingly and... i don't know how to put it, let's just say he has the X-factor that the other male dancers lacked.

Some modern dance...Can see that guy near the end of the video... At the center of the stage. So charming~ But the video got cut off a short while after he appeared... =(


After-concert thoughts...

Great thanks to JX and HY　for inviting me~!!! ^_^ I really don't regret the whole 3.5 hours there at all.. I have nothing but praises for the whole production! I'm totally wowed by their talents, their energy and their efforts. Of course, all these would never have been possible without hard work. They have been practising from 5-11 everyday in school for 6-7 months!!! I finally understand what the opening video is all about... to explain to the parents in the audience, and to show them the fruit of their child's hard work in past 6-7 months. Though i'm not a parent, but i too, felt touched by their intentions.

On another note, now my current dance class at the CC seemed totally like the Singapore Workout man... Argh. HAha... I wanna learn how to dance like them!!! I want, i want!!!! So that i can really enjoy the music to another level, so that i can pursue a real hobby, so that i can jian fei, so that i can show off~!!! Ahahha...

So inspired right now~!!! i Wanna dance, dAnce, DAnCE~~~!!!! =D

When i reached out my hand to her, and she dodged at a speed so swift... that she can compete with Keanu Reeves. All i can say is that she has a very flexible body...

Suay Chronicles Part I

I think i can really start blogging about my suay chronicles from now on...

08 Nov 2006 (Yesterday), about 1-2am

I'm sitting by the sofa, watching my recorded Goong episode and waiting for my hair to dry at the same time. You know there are times when you can't really sit still? So i grabbed the pillow from the other end of the sofa, and shifted to that end.

I went to the kitchen after some time to take a drink. When i came back, i saw something at the very spot where i sat at just now... My living room is quite dark, so i can't really see what it was. It looked like some chicken slice. My brother must have been messy with his food again, i thought. So I went to poke it and it feels a little rubbery.

Then. It. Dawned. On. Me.







It's a chicken piece, it must be a chicken piece!!!
Before i could allow myself to think even further, i quickly grabbed some newspaper nearby, wrapped it, and threw it into the trash.

It's only then that i sat down and think slowly.....

I swear that 'chicken' has eyes, and it has the vague shape of a head and a tail...





Yes...... it's a lizard.

This is what i think that happens...

Before i shifted my place, the stupid lizard was beneath the pillow. Because the living room is dark and also because i'm too glued to the tv, i didn't notice it on the sofa. So this is how i sat on it throughout the rest of the show....urgh.



Perhaps it's due to my increased intensity of my Suay Aura bah... The effect no longer lags. The lizard immediately died upon contact.

Okok... Stop pitying the lizard anymore, it's me you all should pity k... I'm so traumatized by the whole event. I'm never gonna sit on that sofa again...

I'm so so traumatized...

Library, students' second home...

It gets worse and worse every semester...

I seriously don't remember seeing that many students in the library during my first sem.

If it's like 1 week left to exams, maybe i can understand...

But now's like 3 weeks to exams, and the library is packed with muggers already!!! Even at 7-8 pm, it's fully booked!!!

Soooo crazy man~~

WS is a perfect example.

There's never a day, no..scratch that... should be never at any point in time, where you see her outside of library... So if you need to look for her, you can go to the Central Library at level 6, 99% you can find her there... Lol...

1% is when she's attending her lessons, or when she's in the toilet.

Even me also under WS's influence.. i think i'm there for like an average of 4 hours per day...

Sighz.

This is not good. Not good at all....

I've been hearing comments like "omg, why you look so stressed lately??" or "why you so tired/haggard/serious this sem??". Some noticed that i've eyebags lately, some even commented that i looked a little nerdy... ...

NOOOoooooo.............. WS, I don't want to be like you!!! No No NO!!!!!!!

NUS is stealing my youth away from me... =(

Dreadful '2'...

For as long as i can remember, i have never been able to celebrate my birthday in school before, and have always envied those who can because that would mean all your classmates can celebrate for you. And not to mention more presents as well.

Because December is the long holiday month, and people usually don't see each other in during holidays (during my primary and early secondary school days), so people usually might as well don't celebrate at all... =S cos it's pretty meaningless to celebrate someone's birthday 1 month later bah..

I remember there's only once when i actually have the chance to celebrate in school... I was 6, studying at the West Coast PAP kindergarten school. That year, i still remembered vaguely, my mom bought my birthday cake, and prepared those little candy gifts wrapped with colourful wrapping paper that kids from our time loved (kids nowadays would probably scrunch their face with distaste instead). I'm so so excited and looking forward to show off share these candies and birthday cake to my classmates~!!!

But alas!! My Suay streak has started since i was young..

Just a few days before that very day, i had chicken pox. Of all times and of all kinds of illnesses, i had to get that stupid disease during that period!!! Why don't make me have minor ones like flu, cough, or even if fever, i'm also willing to crawl to school!!

GRrrr....

Not only that, that very year i got second in class (my only time in life). And i can't attend the prize presentation ceremony in as a result. (The ceremony is also during December)

ROOAAAAARRRRRRRRSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

Why am i so suay in my life?? Think if i write down all my suay chronicles, it would probably be enough to be compiled as a book!!! Maybe even one as thick as a dictionary!! SianZ... =(


Ok, back to topic. Every year, my friends celebrated their birthdays before me. And every year, they (esp the gangst8rs =S) laughed at me being so young, so child-like (as in like a child w/o the +ve pts), and those critical years they gloated that they can already see nc16 or m18 while i can't. =SS

Hahaha... But this year is so different man... Everyone is so scared of reaching the '2' header. Lol... It's the year when many things are changed once you celebrated your birthday.. Like you no longer being a teenager, you entering the adulthood, and how you have to get used to little kids calling you 'auntie' or 'uncle' once you reach the dreadful '2's.. And you probably cannot laugh and shout loudly, cannot run here and there, cannot play in playground, cannot idolize Edison anymore... *horrors*

Otherwise people would say, "Aiyo, see that girl.. In her 20s le still acting like a child sia!! Tsk tsk tsk..."

Hey it works!!

Sometime ago, ZW and JX have been suggesting to me about adding Edison Chen's pictures in my blog to increase my visitor count. And guess what? It workS!! Lol...

I just checked, and i got 15 visitors today!! Not bad leh!!! (relatively-speaking...)

Nothing much recently happen to me lately...

HAve been surfing for more Edison's pictures recently till i'm late once for muggerhood meeting last friday. But not totally my fault too, because it rained HEAVILY and CONTINUOUSLY that day, so i have to wait for the right time to step out of my house. As soon as i'm prepared to leave, the rain starts again... So to save time, i might as well do something productive.. Thus my continued quest for Edison's pictures. =D

As you can see, i don't mean to be late, it's just that there are too many unforeseen circumstances that made me so...:(

But anyways, that day during dinner, we've discovered someone's fetish wor.. I never knew guys with hairy legs can be appealing before... To someone: Maybe P-Hairy's legs are appealing to you?? =X

Then when we asked Ng what's his preference for girls in terms of looks... His reply: "Don't have leh..." Oh? Don't tell us that our suspicions are right? We suspect he must be a gay. Hmmm... No wonder his eyes are unusually bright when we are sharing our preferences for guys in terms of looks...

Hhhhmmmmmmmmmm.................


Oh and recently the Suay Aura is spreading, one touch and the other person may be Suayed the next day. Quite scary man~ According to YT, the aura actually lags, that's why the effect isn't immediate. So far, trees have fallen, people have jumped down on the MRT tracks, chilly sauce have been spilled on shirt, and handphone being scratched...

Don't know why many people freaked out when i just touched them... Weird.

I just took a look at the counter, and realised that my visitor traffic is moving real slow lately.. So today i shall dedicate 1 whole post to Edison... Hohoho... I should be able to increase my visitor count by 3 times le bah? (6 is not a lot right? since yesterday only got 2 visitors... =S) So girls, after being in school the whole day and see no shuai ges, now you all got 眼福了喔... HAha~ =X

Most of my idols are actually actors from dramas or movies bah.. because it's through dramas and movies that i get to see them often, become familiar with them, and familiarity breeds liking... according to the propinquity effect in my psychology textbook. Lol...


My Longest-Lasting Idol so far... EDISON CHEN!!! hohoho...
First seen him from the movie Twins Effect, at HY's house with the gangst8rs... After which i got 电到 till now... *-* His cool hairstyle, mischievous smile, cute dimples, and oh-so-dreamy deep eyes... *drools* Ahaha.....






Then saw him again in 9 girls and a ghost, another HK movie back in 2002 i think... Ok, the movie is not really nice, but i think it's the only movie which shows most of Edison~!!! And close up too!!! HeeZ... Once again, i'm electrocuted throughout the entire 2 hours... Even after the movie, I sat where i was and replayed the movie in my head... heh..

3 weeks to Exams!!

Some people complain that they are sick of seeing the "4 Weeks to the FinaLs...." whenever they visit my blog. Ok lar.. i've made some changes...






It's 3 Weeks to Final Exams!!!! ArrggGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've found a great way to de-stress though... heh...
