My birthday @ kboX~!! =D

Going to M'sia tomorrow~!! so had to post this update before i go... Lest i should forget it all... LolX~ Enjoy enjoy!!!

Last Thursday...

Gangst8rs arranged to meet up at 7pm at lot kbox for some christmas fun as well as celebrating my birthday~!! Hehe...

Before that me, mf n wl meet first at Marina Square for some shopping spree, because the rest have to work, and we have nothing to do before 7pm.. lol..

Went to Thai Express, ate the green curry that mf ate the other time.. And oh my.. it's much spicier than i remembered sia~!! I choked on my third swallow of the curry.. (Wl told me later that it's because i only sampled mf's curry in small portions previously, so i didn't realise it's that spicy..)

Overall, i think it's not bad.. but i think vegetarian green curry is nicer.. Got lots of variety of vegetables.. Chicken green curry only got... well... chicken. WL ordered something like sweet and sour fish rice, MF ordered some glass noodles with something.. Can't remember... But i remembered it's not bad... and I want to try the pineapple rice next time~!! haha..




Later we head over to kbox... Because i had not enough sleep the previous day, my energy level was quite low during the first few hours..

But it all changed, when the drinks came in... LoL... I ordered gin tonic, because that's the only alcohol in my dictionary, after watching Vaness order it in 流星花园.. And it sounded quite cool.. Haha...

But eeww.. a little bitter.. not very nice.. So i asked MF and WL for their lemon slices from their lemon honey drinks.. haha.. Eh, then really tasted not bad leh.. Very nice~ ^_^ I almost finished it if hy hadn't warned me that i would get a headache if i downed it all at once..

Don't know whether it's the effects of the drinks, whether the songs chosen are fast and high, or whether the songs chosen are not very up to date (so i'm familiar).. i got high and soon we all were dancing wildly to the music too~ haha, i think hy taped down the dancing scene.. but i still haven't received the video yet.. so can't post.. hahaha...

The alcohol must have reduced our inhibition to our certain actions too~ For example, sometimes we have crazy thoughts of doing something wild, but our brain is capable of inhibiting ourselves to do such irrational stuff. And the alcohol reduces this ability to inhibit... Look what alcohol has done to HY..

Later, I was really taken by surprise when the waiter walked in with a birthday cake (though i suspected something when ZW, HY and JX insisted on going to the toilet together suddenly... hah)~!! It's a chocolate cake (Ooooo.. my favourite!! haha~), and had a Buttercup doll on it.. Looked like me, they say, when i asked why the choice.. =SS So in the end i had to pose like her lar~ =SSSSS

Due to my excitement, i moved quite abruptly with my cake.. Soon, before any photo was taken, one of the candlelight was blown out... leaving only one candlelight going strong (as you can see in the above pictures..)

One of them said, "Never mind lar, you are like 10 years old anyway... The age is just nice.."

Me replied, "Where got??!! Pi lor... Hahahaha..."

Due to the air current produced from my laughter, the remaining candlelight went out too. -_-!!!

The situation was too gao xiao for me to handle, leaving me lol on the sofa..

Arrggghhhh....My birthday wish no more!!!!!!

One by one, they presented me with different kinds of chocolates.. like some kinda prize presentation of some sort.. HahaHA... Took plenty of photos in ZW's cam.. but still haven't receive her photos yet.. Will post when i do. ThX guys~!! Especially the Cherish chocolates, which has a meaningful message behind it yar..

Yeah, i guessed i did sound a little complainy due to the last minute changes, but definitely not because i didn't get to eat the buffet lar.. hahA~ maybe like this so some thought i don't treat you all well?? hmmmM.. okok, will remind myself to Cherish you guys whenever i see the chocolates...

Oh yar, and due to christmas sales, i bought a $6 giodarno top, a $10 BUM top, and a $13 topshop top!! WoooeeEEEeee... What a bargain sia~!!! Plus they don't look too bad either~ lolX.. below is my $6 one..

Last Wednesday...

Went shopping in town.. We walked from citilink to suntec city to bugis... Poor legs~ hahaha.. But it's fun nevertheless.. We went in to almost every boutique along the way!! WAhahaha...

Halfway we took a break at Anderson's at Suntec. That place is so great for zi-pai-ing man~ Even i can look like a mei nu in the photos leh~ Muahahahah~!!! Go take nice pics when you happened to be there... haha..

But i think the ice-cream is only ok lar.. Not really up to expectations based on its expensive price as well as its brand reputation... Or maybe it's only me, but i think it's not worth the price...

But anyway, we spent more than an hour there experimenting with the camera sia.. Lolx..

Poor Charlotte...

Went to watch Charlotte's Web today~!! It's probably not as funny/interesting/popular as the Night of the Museum or the Curse of the Golden Flower, but i still liked it.. =) Haha..

Charlotte's Web is a children's literature which i have read in my primary school days.. And it's also my main literature text in sec 1. So this movie has certainly brought back many memories..

For this story/movie, i had always felt sad that at the end Charlotte had to die... And in a foreign place where no one knows of her existence.. All her efforts in creating the 'miracle' in her web, and in helping Wilbur to escape from his ill fate.. All these went unrecognised by any human at all... They only see it as a miracle by Wilbur, while the greatest credit should go to her.

Charlotte is such a noble character... She spent all her life and efforts on helping her friend without taking credit for it; and also didn't expect any favours in return for all her efforts... Such a admirable character, why did she die in such a pitiful manner??!!!!!! Why???!! Why isn't the good ever rewarded?!! Other than being satisfied emotionally or spiritually or whatever, i still think she should deserve more than that!! RoarS~!! No wonder there aren't many really good people around today.. Poor Charlotte... =(

Just came back from kbox..

Super tired right now~ Cos only had 4-5 hours of sleep yesterday...

Hahaha... Lagged behind by a few posts already.. will try to blog about it tomorrow..

The sun shone brightly upon the clear skies...

With cool breeze blowing in from the windows, and teasing the curtains...




It would have been a perfect day to go cycling at ECP... but it was cancelled at the last minute based on the past few days' weather history...=(

Other plans were also made, so the cycling trip is not meant to be~

Girls Out Loud

Watched Girls Out Loud for the first time yesterday.. Was a little disappointed.. i felt that show's a little bimbotic.. When they played counter strike, their comments were like "oh my god" here and there.. Nothing much..

When they went to the mixed reality lab, and tried out the gadgets.. I thought the show would educate us on what is it about and how it works.. because it seemed quite cool from the way they introduced it.. But no... all it showed is how the girls fooled around with the 'special slippers'.. And i still don't know a single thing about how it works... Even when they interviewed the guy, who's supposed to explain and describe their mixed reality stuff... The girls diverted the focus of the interview on how handsome the guy is, and that Wendy has a crush on him... Blah blah...-__-...

The interviews with the other bloggers is also quite weird in some sense.. There's a blogger who likes to take nude pictures of herself.. Her interview is super weird.. She never seemed to answer any questions to the point.. The whole interview was made even worse when Wendy keeps sniggering and making faces (not very discretely) in front of that blogger... to the extent that i think is a little rude. I don't think she should blatantly make known of her own feelings if it's at the expense of others..

There's also another blogger turned model who wished to ban Wendy from Orchard (It all started with Wendy's blog on the aerosol spray incident).. They were supposed to 'fight it out' verbally at a place, set up looking like a boxing/wrestling ring.. They lashed it out, always Wendy turning out to be on the winning side (though i don't see why...). Supposedly the fierce battle between 2 bloggers... But i think they turned out to be quarreling like some typical ah lians... Hahaha... super lame..

But overall, i think the show is all about knowing more of Xiaxue and how great she is... It can be seen when the show pretty much defamed other bloggers by putting them in a negative light, and her in a positive light... Not much of educational value from this show.. But it would score high as a reality tv show though.. We can see how bloggers reacts and handle the situation when they come face to face in real life with their rival enemies... I also noticed that these famous bloggers don't really have great communication skills (as compared to most artistes...) judging from their interviews and body language.. Perhaps this may be a cause of concern.. since blogging is becoming such a widespread phenomenon today...

So if you just wanna relax without using your brain, or if you love to know more about Xiaxue in real life, then go ahead and watch Girls Out Loud!!!

Raining BLuES...

I did mentioned that i like RAin, the Korean singer cum actor.. and prayed fervently that he may one day appear in front of me..

But i don't mean rain literally!! ROARS!!
So why has it been raining every single day, every single hour, every single minute for the past few days!!!




Has thwarted so many of my plans man~

Last fri : Meet to go swimming at 5 pm --> rained at 5 pm sharp -_-..

Yesterday : Meet at Causeway Point at 6 pm --> rained throughout the whole day.. Super heavy at 5+pm..

Today : Meet to go kbox at 10 am today --> now still raining!!! ARGGGHHHH~!!!!



RAin was planning to come to Singapore for his concert in January.. But guess what?!!! The cheapest price is $188!!!! I heard before that it's actually $300+ and $188 is already the lowered price... USually this amount can get you the front seat already.. Pay so much, yet sit behind and see nothing... Such a waste of money.. Think i wait for the vcd better... lol...



Sian~!! Supposed to be a nice weather, but can't i sleep??!! Have i got insomnia or something??!!! Although i kept reminding myself to sleep early, i kept sleeping at 2-3 am...

What's worse, i always wake up at 8-9am!!! Sometimes i woke up automatically... Other times, when i finally can sleep... i've been awoken by stupid phone calls, blasting music, or...

by nature calls....

And can't sleep after that!! Walau.. After effects of exam stress?? Even my Naughty Kiss comics have lost its usual hypnotic effects...

Any other ideas to induce sleep?? Anyone???

Maybe we wasted lots of time because the guys kept adjusting the digicams for the "perfect" settings... So in the end, we only took with a few Christmas trees... =S Haha.. and we asked a couple of cute guys to help us take pictures~ Lol... Although their skills not very good (and not cos my cam not good k...), but who cares?? Ahahaha...
